Today I enjoyed: Oxygen by Andreas Brandhorst.
The premise is rather simple: Earth runs out of oxygen. That's it. Simple, powerful, terrifying even. I actually sometimes found myself in day-to-day situations grasping for air before realizing, that this is the real world, and there is still enough oxygen in the air. But this certainly speaks to the quality of this book. It pulls you into a suspenseful environmental thriller, that never really slows down. I could barely put the book away, and I particularly liked the ending. It might not, what you expect it to be, but I dare you to find out yourself, dear reader! I definitely recommend this piece of literature.
